Reservations, orders, gift cards, and SMS — here's how it all works when you book or order from Tony's Hibachi.

Effective date:

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, placing an order, making a reservation, purchasing a gift card, or providing your phone number to receive messages from us, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Reservations

Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. We confirm bookings by phone within an hour during business hours. Reservations are not guaranteed until you receive that confirmation.

  • Tables are held for 15 minutes past the reservation time. After that, the table may be released to walk-ins.
  • Hibachi tables are shared communal seating that seat up to 10. Smaller parties may be seated with other guests at the same grill.
  • Large parties of 6 or more are subject to an automatic 18% gratuity.
  • For parties of 9 or more, please call us directly at (410) 552-1599.

3. Online Orders & Payment

Online orders are accepted for pickup only. Final pricing is calculated by the restaurant from the live menu — prices shown on the website are based on what's currently published in our point of sale.

  • Pay at pickup — pay cash or card at the counter when you arrive.
  • Pay online — secure card payment processed by Stripe. Tony Hibachi never sees or stores your full card number.
  • If a credit-card processing fee applies, it is shown as a separate line item on the checkout screen before you complete payment.
  • Online orders may be cancelled before they enter preparation. Once the kitchen begins your order, we may not be able to refund it.
  • Refunds for completed orders are issued at the restaurant's discretion based on the issue.

4. Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are sold for the value purchased and have no cash value beyond that balance.
  • Gift cards do not expire.
  • Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced unless purchased through our online platform with a registered email.
  • Gift cards are redeemable for food and beverage at Tony's Hibachi only and may not be applied to gratuity.

5. SMS Messaging Terms (A2P 10DLC)

By providing your mobile number when making a reservation, placing an order, or purchasing a gift card, you consent to receive SMS messages from Tony Hibachi. Consent is not required as a condition of purchase.

Types of messages: reservation confirmations and reminders, table-ready alerts, pickup-ready notifications, order status updates, and (only if you opt in to marketing) occasional promotional messages.

Message frequency: approximately 2–8 messages per month.

Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

To opt out: Reply STOP to (410) 552-1599. You will receive a final confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.

6. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

Please inform our team — at the table or in the order notes field — of any allergies or dietary restrictions. While most dishes can be modified, our kitchen handles wheat, soy, sesame, fish, shellfish, eggs, and nuts daily. We cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the website (e.g. attempt to interfere with its operation, scrape data programmatically, or use it for unlawful purposes). We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel orders/reservations at our discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tony Hibachi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, services, or food. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific order or reservation in question.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
